'Trapped in a Dreadful Dream': Families of Unaccounted For Teens Desperately Seek Answers After Ski Resort Blaze

The families of teens unaccounted for after a devastating inferno at a venue in a Swiss winter destination are facing an excruciating wait for answers and requesting information about their loved ones publicly.

The blaze devastated the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Circulated images reveal the roof structure igniting as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.

Emergency services have warned that it could take an extended period to identify the victims of the fire, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and wounded another over a hundred. Authorities noted on the latest update that the majority of the those hurt have been identified, with work continuing to name the final individuals.

In the interim, relatives have been posting on online platforms to appeal for information about their missing relatives who were at the bar that night.

Desperate Searches for the Missing

The location of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are not yet determined, according to an appeal from his family.

The resident of a town near Lausanne, told a local newspaper that she had returned to Lausanne to see if he was in the medical facility, while his father did the same in Bern, but could not find him.

"I'm living a nightmare, an ordeal. Either I find my son in the hospital mortuary, or I find him in a serious state. It's terrible," she told the paper.

She continued that some of his friends had been found with burns covering nearly half their bodies. "There are no words; they experienced an absolute nightmare."

The Italy's government has confirmed that a number of of its nationals remain missing.

Junior golfer Emanuele Galeppini, sixteen, was last in contact around midnight on New Year's Eve, as stated by.

Among them is Emanuele Galeppini, a 16-year-old sportsman, who hailed from Genoa but now living in Dubai.

The Italian Golf Federation has released a tribute that he is no longer with us, without directly referencing the tragedy, paying tribute to a "talented young man who represented passion and authentic values."

His parent, is quoted as saying that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around the new year. An official spokesperson has stated that a official announcement of his death is awaited.

Other Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is also among the missing. His mother told reporters that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with friends and found himself at the venue.

"Someone with him told me they fled after the fire started and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he they were separated," she recounted, adding he had been wearing a distinctive gold chain.

One of his educators said, "I remember his good nature and positive demeanor, alongside great responsibility. Every time offer to help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds dual Greek and Swiss nationality but lives full-time in Switzerland, was also at the bar on New Year's Eve, according to sources.

Her brother has published an appeal on social media, saying the family has had "no information" regarding the 15-year-old or the group she was with, who are also reported missing.

Officials from her other nation say they are closely watching the developments.
