Keeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers could have been trailing by six at Bournemouth but for him. Key display, stepped up and showed real class. Superb shot-stopping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. A loss might have ruined their entire term.

Defenders

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for season's best. Many discuss Gunners' stars. He has been the top performer by far.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a mad supporter to say 'He scores and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got massive odds on that. He shone. He is emerging as a force. He is truly a tough opponent. I'm happy to watch him perform similar to before.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him a few times earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled from his faults. However with the Magpies he's been a monster. He has shown immense power and powerful and seems polished. It seems he has secured a ideal club.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a left-back, rather a attacking-minded going forward. He is a excellent acquisition for Brighton. It's no shock at them discovering another star from obscurity? It seemed after selling Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand what they're doing.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Similar players and they make it for the same reason. Their clubs triumphed, everyone will talk the scorers, but without these two the sides struggle. They perform brilliantly. They break up play, they support going forward.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. A lot of followers, including my son, had doubts whether he was the man to secure victory. A hat-trick in the local rivalry and currently fans desire to honor him permanently of him. Scoring, calmness, he controlled the game. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it is quite challenging to leave him out. I felt he had a great start this campaign, I believe he acted with some expectation and hoped he might join to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he appears to have adapted well. A brilliant brace obviously against Leeds pulled his side from behind. He was the difference maker.

Strikers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I noted he appeared not his normal self. He looked like he'd lost a yard. Yet amazing. Words fail me. He performed superbly. Outstanding in his movement and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He plays well, usually better as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he has to play. He failed to convert a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. Yet possessing the psychological strength to put himself in challenging moments and score twice was great.

Manager

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and outperforms Arne Slot. A excellent strategy. It might have been multiple goals for Forest and few would dispute.
